“Polling done to support the Lansdowne Live bid also suggests there is plenty of interest in football across the region.
According to a survey done by EKOS Research Associates in December, 43 per cent of respondents said they’d be interested in attending CFL games, especially if they were played at a refurbished or rebuilt stadium at Lansdowne Park.
“That’s a potential market of nearly half a million to draw from,” says EKOS president Frank Graves. “It’s more than a good starting point — it’s excellent.”
